WHO AM I?
Hello there! I'm an Asian-American voice actor from Southern California.Having immigrated to the United States from Vietnam at three years old, I learned English through public schooling. After a long day of school, I would come home and watch cartoons and play video games, just like any other normal kid. As I grew older and understood both the language and culture better, I became more invested in the stories they told. The way characters were brought to life with just one's voice was fascinating to me because the stories I experienced helped me develop into the person I am today.After the pandemic hit, I didn't know what to do with myself. So I thought "Why not learn how to voice act? Be part of the stories you enjoyed when you were younger." Before I got into voice acting, however, I wanted to know what it was like to act in general. So I decided to sign up for live acting classes to get the fundamentals of how to act.That was when I became hooked.It's one thing to watch actors do their thing, it's another to actually do the thing. There was a sense of wonder and playfulness I hadn't felt since I was a child and acting helped me rediscover this. Acting helped me to reconnect with my younger self and to experience the joys of being in the present. With the lessons and experiences I gained from live acting, I eventually veered towards voice acting. Since then, I've been enjoying the ride wherever it takes me.In my spare time, I still enjoy watching cartoons and playing video games. In addition to those, I also enjoy exploring new places to eat, to experience new flavors I never knew existed.
